Welcome! While it may seem as if most of my comments and thoughts are meant to be shared with other hockey moms, I certainly welcome kids and dads into the arena. It's not an exclusive club and we all need to play a part in putting fun back into the fundamentals of hockey. I have truly admired the coaches we've met along the way who have always stressed the importance of unity and team spirit.







My goal is simple; to promote hockey as a sport that can help build good character, friendships and offer our kids a chance to have some good fun along the way. What matters most is the journey.

About Me

If you've been at it for a few years, like me, you too have probably developed thick skin, multi-tasking skills, fierce loyalty to your team and your kid. Let's also point out that unwavering commitment to a sport that consumes an immense amount of our time. We also discover things new things about ourselves, like the amazing ability to adjust to abnormal conditions ( dim lights in an unheated hockey arena on a blustery morning when everything else has been cancelled sound familiar?).







My daughter is on a squirt house team, and I'm please to report, there are two other girls on the team. My son is playing for his high school varsity hockey team as a top-notched defenseman. Hectic? Insanely so! But, I wouldn't trade a second of it. I work full-time too, so it's a very delicate balance between work, school and satisfying the passion of two kids who love the ice and the game.







Hockey has rewarded us and definately challenged us. We are grateful for the experiences and the friends we're making along the way. I'm eager to share the journey and our adventures on and off the ice.
