Haunted Hockey in Lake Placid

The game, the goal and the ghost make for an action packed adventure for the puck hog and his teammates in the land where hockey miracles are made, the legendary Lake Placid. Just when it looks like victory is in reach, it all falls apart right before the matchup with a mighty Canadian youth hockey team. Now they need a miracle! Can the keeper of dreams keeps the legacy alive?

Who doesn't love hockey?

I work at Morrisville-Eaton Central School District. My oldest son, Ryan, attended the Writers’ Jubilee last year and loved every minute of it. After everyone had left the Superintendent had a book signed by you as a gift for my son. That autographed book was the best gift.  We sit in our reading room as a family reading your book and my boys always love hearing it over and over again. The illustrations are so kid friendly and the content is so easily understood. Not to mention who doesn’t like hockey?

Tournament Time for The Puck Hog

We welcomed Cy to The Puck Hog Team
The real Sophia signs copies of The Puck Hog

Sophia and I enjoyed meeting everyone and signing copies of The Puck Hog this weekend at the Center State Mite Jamboree 2012. Great turnout and a great discussion about children's youth hockey experiences. "We had a puck hog on our team," said one little boy, " and he really made it stink!"  He sounds like one of the characters in the book!   Hopefully the message will sink in and we can all work at putting fun back into the fundamentals of youth hockey!
